IAA Transportation 2026
Focus on innovation

Pavilion 33 is the venue for Schmitz Cargobull’s stand at IAA Transportation 2026. Visitors can look forward to a host of product and service highlights.

A comprehensive offering comprising efficient vehicle solutions, digital connectivity and a full range of services: with this all-round package, Schmitz Cargobull helps transport companies to operate their vehicles cost-effectively. This starts from the initial investment right through to end-of-life recycling, to manage processes transparently and to increase the availability of their fleet. This creates sustainable added value, which is also reflected in the theme for the company’s exhibition stand at IAA Transportation 2026 (15 to 20 September in Hanover): “Experience More.Value.”
Making its debut at the new Pavillon 33 venue, Schmitz Cargobull is showcasing its latest product and service innovations. A key focus is the ongoing development of manufacturing processes towards the ‘Smart Factory’ concept, as exemplified by the new assembly line for the S.KO COOL in Vreden.
In the field of temperature-controlled transport, Schmitz Cargobull’s S.KO COOL refrigerated semi-trailer demonstrates how the trailer, transport refrigeration unit, telematics and services work together as a single system. There are also further innovations in the transport refrigeration unit segment, including the S.CU mt-DualEvap multi-temperature solution for distribution transport.
New developments for dry freight and urban logistics
There are also new developments in the dry freight sector, such as the flexible S.BO MULTI and the S.BO PACE+, which has been specially developed for parcel logistics. The portfolio is complemented by innovative solutions for container transport, such as the S.CF ALLROUND 20–45 chassis, as well as new concepts for city logistics, which Schmitz Cargobull has developed in collaboration with GT Trailers. These include the S.BO CITY dry freight vehicle and the S.CS CITY semi-trailer curtainsider for urban distribution. For inner-city food distribution, the S.KO CITY enables multi-temperature transport with a high degree of flexibility and high vehicle utilisation for a variety of route requirements.
With BERGERecotrail, Schmitz Cargobull is driving forward the versatile use of lightweight construction solutions, such as the PerformanceEco LTOe Curtainsider, which is specifically designed for use with electric tractor units.
With the S.CS MEGA X-TOUGH semi-trailer curtainsider, Schmitz Cargobull is targeting transport operations that require both a large load volume and high load-bearing capacity, whilst the construction site segment is also well catered for: Also on display in Hanover will be the new aluminium box body for the S.KI LIGHT, designed for durability and ease of maintenance.
The systematic digitalisation of the trailer ecosystem also plays a key role: With the Cargobull Operating System (COS) as its digital platform, the new Cargobull Trailer Diagnostics software and the MyCargobull customer portal, Schmitz Cargobull is laying the foundations for efficient, connected and transparent fleet processes.
This range of services is complemented by the further expanded Mobile Van Service, which enables maintenance, repairs and technical support to be carried out directly at the customer’s premises.
