Schmitz Cargobull and GT Trailers: manoeuvrable solutions for urban logistics

With the S.BO CITY dry freight box body and the S.CS CITY semi-trailer curtainsider, Schmitz Cargobull and the Polish manufacturer GT Trailers have developed new solutions for urban logistics. The two strategic partners (Schmitz Cargobull holds a 48 per cent stake in GT Trailers) are marketing the vehicles jointly, thereby strengthening their position in the growing market for city and distribution logistics.

The robust box body of the S.BO CITY is based on a durable FERROPLAST® structure combined with a hot-dip galvanised steel frame. Together with a precision steering axle, the compact design ensures excellent manoeuvrability, even in confined inner-city conditions. At the same time, features such as a tail lift, roller shutter and flexible loading options support high vehicle utilisation and efficient handling processes.
