With the S.KO CITY semi-trailer body and the S.CU mt-DualEvap transport refrigeration unit, Schmitz Cargobull presents a specialised solution for multi-temperature applications in urban distribution transport.

A key advantage of the compact and manoeuvrable S.KO CITY is its optimised weight distribution, achieved through the repositioned kingpin. The reduced distance between the tractor unit and the semi-trailer increases the payload by up to 1,400kg, shortens the overall length by 52cm and also improves aerodynamics – which in turn reduces fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Measuring nine metres in length (22 Euro pallets) and featuring a robust 10-tonne axle, the S.KO CITY combines high capacity with excellent manoeuvrability. The mechanical forced steering makes manoeuvring in narrow city centres easier and reduces time spent on manoeuvres, tyre wear and the risk of damage. Practical features such as the continuous LED interior lighting and the non-slip, hygienic Airline floor further simplify day-to-day work processes.

The compact design, the energy-efficient FERROPLAST® body and the new S.CU mt-DualEvap combine to ensure rapid cooling – a clear advantage when doors are opened frequently during distribution operations. And, of course, the S.KO CITY is also fitted with the latest-generation Body Control Unit (BCU).
