TrailerConnect® is now available in Turkey too
Schmitz Cargobull is the first trailer manufacturer to offer a version of its TrailerConnect® telematics solution certified for use in Turkey. The adaptation complies with the requirements of the Turkish regulatory authority BTK, such as the mandatory use of Turkish SIM cards and data transmission via nationally controlled servers. Transport companies operating in Turkey or carrying out cross-border transport are thus provided with a fully compliant, high-performance solution for their fleet management.
TrailerConnect® collects all relevant information from trailers and transport refrigeration units – including position, EBS data, tyre pressure, door status and temperature – and transmits it in real time to the TrailerConnect® portal. This provides dispatchers with a reliable data foundation for optimising capacity utilisation and avoiding empty runs. Customised alerts provide immediate notification of route deviations or safety-related incidents, whilst historical data supports preventive maintenance planning and reduces unplanned downtime.

TrailerConnect®: Plan Truck Wash Stops Across Europe
Schmitz Cargobull has expanded its TrailerConnect telematics system with a feature for finding the nearest available truck wash. Regular cleaning is essential, especially for food transport. To ensure trucks can reach the nearest wash as quickly as possible between trips, TrailerConnect now features an interface to the TRAVIS app, one of Europe's leading digital tools for truck drivers, for searching and booking parking spaces and truck wash bays. This new interface in TrailerConnect also allows dispatchers to plan and book necessary cleaning stops across Europe directly during route planning. Time-consuming internet searches and complicated booking processes are no longer necessary.
