Body Control Unit – Maximum availability thanks to intelligent connectivity in the S.KO COOL

The new Body Control Unit (BCU) on the bulkhead of the S.KO box body semi-trailer is the key factor for ensuring maximum operating times during temperature-controlled transport. It connects all of the relevant systems and forms the basis for intelligent functions and a future-proof fleet solution.

When combined with the S.CU cooling unit, the BCU can increase the availability of the trailer and cooling unit. As the trailer’s central control element, the BCU connects all systems, such as the interior monitoring function and access to the door locking system, increasing their readiness for operation. The S.CU’s battery charge level is also accessible on the TrailerConnect® portal at all times for maximum transparency, enabling maintenance to be planned instead of having to deal with unplanned trips to the workshop.
